The moving-electrode type electrostatic precipitator ( MEEP) is a mainstream direction for a new ESP building
or a renovation ESP as its low dust discharge and PM2.5 effective removal. The brush which is one of the moving parts
in MEEP become more and more important, thus a test for failure forms and lifespan of brush was developed with
mechanical structure and electrical devices. The test device made frame structure as mechanical part, controlled by PLC
and driven by VFD motor. The static and dynamic performance was analyzed through ANSYS Workbench. The results
indicate the dynamic performance of frame structure meets design requirement, without resonance during operation, this
device can achieve test demand. |
